Barber-Scotia College has an Open Admissions Policy and does not require the SAT or ACT scores as an admissions requirement. Unofficial transcripts are accepted and will grant contingent admission. Official transcripts are required for full admittance to the college.

Freshmen

You must complete the following requirements to be fully admitted into Barber-Scotia college:

  2. Pay $25.00 application fee
  3. High school transcript showing diploma or GED
  4. All transcripts from previous colleges or universities

International Students

  1. International applicants are required to submit the following materials before an admission decision is made and an I-20 form issued:
  2. A completed application for admission, including application fees;
  3. An official transcript from any high school, college, or university attended
  4. Evidence of proficiency in English
  5. A statement indicating that the applicant’s financial resources will enable the student to meet United States study costs
  6. One year of tuition and fees in advance
  7. A health certificate

Prior to admission, all international students must furnish a copy of his/her background record even if a criminal history does not exist.
