The Institutional Advancement Coordinator serves as the administrative, stewardship, and compliance backbone of the Institutional Advancement Office. This role ensures accurate donor records, timely gift processing, and professional operational support that upholds donor trust and institutional integrity.
The College Registrar oversees and maintains student and College records, administers the course registration process, and confirms students’ fulfillment of matriculation, graduation, and other academic requirements.
The Director of Admissions provides leadership in departmental initiatives related to recruitment, new student orientation, and transition programs.
The Director will also coordinate participation in admitted student events. The Director works in collaboration with campus partners, such as the Division of Academic Affairs, academic units, Division of Student Services, and Division of Advancement (more specifically with alumni relations) to
aid students in their tractions into and through Barber-Scotia College.
The Vice President of Product Strategy will lead the vision, strategy, and development of a portfolio of online academic offerings that extend the cultural power, community strength, and educational excellence of our HBCU into the digital realm. This is a pivotal role at the heart of
our university’s transformation, helping shape an online student experience that is mission driven, learner-centered, and designed to reflect the soul of the HBCU experience in a virtual
environment.
The VP will partner closely with the Chief Academic Officer to co-create a forward-looking academic roadmap, identify high-impact online programs, and ensure that every course and credential embodies our values of Black excellence, cultural relevance, belonging, and economic mobility. The Head Baseball Coach at Barber-Scotia College is responsible for the overall development
and advancement of a competitive athletic program while demonstrating high moral and ethical
standards and positive sportsmanship. The Head Baseball Coach must focus not only on
excellence on the field but recognizing and emphasizing academic excellence in the classroom.
The Assistant Baseball Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the
baseball program. This includes recruiting qualified student athletes, organizing and conducting
practices, game management, fundraising, community engagement, and monitoring the academic
success of student athletes.
The Admissions Counselor will assist the Vice President of Admissions through all phases of the admissions process.
The Library Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the Barber-Scotia College Library by providing excellent customer service, assisting students, faculty, and staff with library resources, and ensuring an organized and welcoming environment.
This role involves clerical, technical, and service-related responsibilities that contribute to the effective functioning of the library and its mission to support teaching, learning, and research.
The Instructional Technology / LMS Coordinator is responsible for managing and supporting the College’s Learning Management System (LMS) and instructional technology initiatives. This role ensures compliance with TRACS accreditation standards through the development of IT policy and procedure training modules within the LMS.
The coordinator will also provide support for faculty onboarding, training, and student digital learning initiatives to strengthen teaching and learning across the College.
The Microsoft 365 Systems Administrator will be responsible for leading the College’s transition from webmail to Microsoft 365, ensuring a smooth migration and optimal system functionality.
This position plays a critical role in managing user accounts, maintaining security, and developing user-friendly SharePoint environments that support students, faculty, and staff.
