Status
Barber-Scotia College is currently preparing an application to seek accreditation with the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS). Established in 1979, TRACS is a voluntary, non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the welfare, interests, and development of Christian postsecondary institutions through the accreditation process. TRACS emphasizes a distinctly Christian mission and purpose in its accreditation standards and support for member institutions.
TRACS provides the following definition – “accreditation is a systematic and ongoing process that provides a recognized and objective assessment of an institution’s quality, competence, and adherence to established standards”.
