Undergraduate Admissions

Barber-Scotia College has an Open Admissions Policy and does not require SAT or ACT test scores. All Barber-Scotia College students (Freshman, Transfer and Readmission) must follow the below Admissions procedure to become a student.
  1. Submit in its entirety a Barber-Scotia College admission application with a non-refundable $25.00 application fee. (Former students are exempt)
  2. Provide proof of citizenship and residency.
  3. Provide all official final high school/GED transcripts. Transcripts must be mailed or hand-delivered to the Admissions Office in a sealed envelope or sent electronically via Parchment or Clearinghouse.
  4. Provide all official final college transcripts. Transcripts must be mailed or hand-delivered to the Admissions Office in a sealed envelope or sent electronically via Parchment or Clearinghouse.

*Students can be provisionally accepted until final transcripts have been received and processed by the Admissions Office.

Out-of-State Residents

Currently, Barber-Scotia College is not accepting any students who reside outside of North Carolina.  If you want to be considered for future acceptance, please complete the Request Information form. In the message section, please indicate, Out-of-State Resident.  We will then add you to our database and communicate with you once we expand acceptance.  Thank you for your consideration.
